Tennessee State Capitol in Nashville – The Tennessee State Capitol, sits atop Capitol Hill, which is the highest point in downtown Nashville. Built between 1845 and 1859, its style is Greek Revival, inspired by classical Greek temples, aligning with Nashville’s historical nickname Athens of the South. Unlike many U.S. state capitols, it does not have a dome. Instead it features a distinctive tower based on the ancient Greek Choragic Monument of Lysicrates, topped with a cupola and flagpole.

Statue of Andrew Jackson – served as the 17th president of the United States from 865 – 1869 and was originally from Tennessee. Sculpted by Clark Mills, it was installed in the grounds of the Tennessee Capitol complex in 1880 during Nashville’s centennial celebration, and is considered the first American-made equestrian statue.

Nashville Parthenon – reproduction of Athens’ Parthenon, is located in Centennial Park and is just a short walk west of the city center. Originally built of wood in 1897 to commemorate the state’s centenary, it was later rebuilt in cement on the same site. Today, it stands as an impressively accurate full-scale replica of the original Greek temple.

Music City Walk of Fame – Established in 2006, it honors artists and industry figures connected to Nashville’s music legacy. Stars are embedded in the sidewalk, similar to Hollywood’s Walk of Fame. Inductees include major icons like Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, and many others.

Jonny Cash Museum – It opened in May 2013 and is officially authorized by the estate of Johnny Cash. The museum houses the world’s largest collection of Johnny Cash memorabilia – instruments, stage costumes, handwritten lyrics, personal items, gold/platinum records, and artifacts spanning his entire life and career. The exhibits are arranged chronologically and include interactive displays (e.g. listening stations, video displays) to take visitors on a journey through Cash’s life — childhood, Air Force years, music career, and legacy.

Country Music Hall of Fame Museum – The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum is a major museum dedicated to preserving and celebrating the history of country music. Its collection includes artifacts, recordings, exhibits, and interactive galleries that tell the story of country music from its roots to today.
