This state in the Pacific Northwest of United States, is one of the most geographically diverse states in the U.S, marked by volcanoes, abundant water bodies, dense evergreen forests, as well as high deserts. It has the Columbia river bordering its northern boundary with the state of Washington, Snake River bordering its eastern boundary with the state of Idaho and the Pacific Ocean bordering its western boundary.
