Blackwater Falls – Named for the dark waters of the Blackwater River and colored by tannic acid from fallen hemlock and red spruce needles, Blackwater Falls drops 60 feet over sandstone ledges before the river continues to rush through an eight-mile-long gorge. A 0.4 mile trail from the parking lot leads to some steps and a viewing platforms.

Almost Heaven Swing – This swing is located along the trail to the main overlook and is perched in one of the state’s most beautiful regions.

Elakala Falls – is another popular waterfall to visit in the park, featuring a beautiful series of cascading water. It can be reached by hiking an easy, relatively short walk of about 0.8 miles round trip, making it accessible for visitors of all ages and skill levels.

Pendleton Overlook – The trail to this overlook is an easy 0.2 mile out-and-back hike that leads out to the lookout point high above Blackwater River on the edge of Blackwater Canyon. From here you get views of the deepest point of the Blackwater Canyon as well as the Blackwater River at the floor of the canyon.

Lindy Point Overlook – This overlook gives you another stunning and picture perfect view of the Blackwater Canyon.
