We planned this 6-day trip in the first week of May, 2025. We hired a car and driver for the 6 days. We booked all the hotels and planned most of the site-seeing places ourselves. The driver, who knew the area well, recommended visiting a few places like the Pinjore gardens in the state of Haryana (on the way to Shimla) and the Kangra Fort, both of which should be on everyone’s list of places to visit.
