We visited these cities in West Bengal on a guided tour in April 2025. The nearest airport to to these places is the Bagdogra Airport, which is about 16 km (10 mi) from Siliguri. Bagdogra Airport serves as a major entry point for the North Bengal region, including Darjeeling, Gangtok, and other hill towns.
To efficiently cover all the sites, we stayed in Darjeeling for the first 3 nights, and Siliguri on the 4th night, as it is the closest city to Bagdogra airport from where we were planning to fly out on the morning of the 5th day.
